Independent Homeschoolers Network (now known as BIHN) was formed in 1988 by a small group of parents who desired to teach their children at home. The founders wanted an all-inclusive and friendly group where all homeschoolers could come together and gain support and a feeling of community.

BIHN offers support to homeschool families in Brevard County, as well as many fun activities, events, and groups.
